Acupuncture is part of an ancient System of medicine, in which, very fine needles are inserted into the body to create a change and restoer the natural flow of qi. Our treatments may include the use of moxibustion, whcih is routinely used in the treatment of chronic conditions such as arthritic pain. Moxibustion created dry heat, which relieves pain in the joints quickly.

We perform other procedures such as cupping and oriental body-work. These are all effective modalities used during acupuncture treatment. The treatment goal is always to reach a 100 percent resolution. After the first treatment, change is expected to begin, and the patient is continuously reassed at evry visit.

** SEEKING RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA **

Maryann Child in collaboration with Quantum-Veritas International University Systems in California, will be conducting research for a new natural substance product to be used in treatment with patients who have been diagnosed with either Vulvodynia and or Vestibulitis. Subjects are needed for research study which will commence January 2007. The study will consist of two initial assessments. The first assestment will include the adminstration of substance 001 which is a flower based natural substance to be applied topically. The second assessment will include administration of an oral natural substance which will be given and data will be collected over a period of three months.
